My New Years

It's been so long I know, I kinda grew out of my blogging addiction, I'm more of a silent reader to most blogs now,,,

Happy belated New Year everyone .. I celebrated with my beau overseas and had a blast, we had fireworks on the beach* and slow danced to soft music (THIS IS A BIG DEAL, my husband is soooooooo not this type) Love u ;**

* This star indicates the not so romantic story behind the fireworks;

As people were laying on the white sands enjoying the azure, royal blue awash waves, I stood barefoot on the cool beach, gazing up at the dark sky watching as the colorful firworks danced their way higher reaching towards the sky.

Purchasing two big boxes of firworks my husband was eager to start firing away, his child within jumped out of his manly figure and with pleading eyes as to not waste time, he held my hand and led me towards the dry sand right infront of the waves who with big blue and white hurled threatining to moistened our destined area in which we chose to set fireworks free. I sat on the white benches watching my beau as he placed the oh-so-precious new toy on the sand stabilizing it to aim towards the sky.I watched curiosly as he tried on many attempts to start lightening the piece of thread that could create such picturesque sights to ones eye.... finally the stubborn white thick thread lit and my husband came running towards where all of us were sitting enjoying the view.

Suddenly, the fireworks came aiming, soaring towards us loosing balance and diverting its fun towards all the innocent people including me, his fragile little wife :( i froze in my place not knowing where to flee, the screams of the people around me and my husbands yelling managed to bring me back to reality, which was a bit too late .... some stupid firework aimed directly at my foot, but with all the adrelanine i didnt feel it except moments later. Surprise surprise i was the only one injured.

With flushed faces we apologized to those who were once audience and now just angry people looking with frowning faces down on us.

Thats my new years story, we left the beach and headed towardsour hotel. Soft music was playing and all couples were enveloped in each others arms dancing together. With guilt encrypted on my beaus face, he asked me ever so gently if I would like to dance like i had always wanted.

Ofcourse I had to say yes, and so hand in hand, we danced the night away.

The end.
